The 56th International Law Enforcement Tug of War will take place May 11 on the Rainbow Bridge.

The Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) is pleased to announce that the International Law Enforcement Tug of War will be returning to the Niagara Rainbow Bridge on Saturday May 11.  

The NRPS men’s and women’s tug of war teams will meet up with their United States law enforcement counterparts to battle on the border.  This will be the 56th year for this event.

On Saturday May 11 at 1:45 p.m., the NRPS teams will march down Clifton Hill in Niagara Falls being led by the Chief’s Honour Guard and the award-winning Niagara Regional Police Pipe Band.  At 2 p.m. sharp the NRPS teams will square off with their US counterparts at the middle of the Rainbow Bridge.

This is a fun free event and as a reminder members of the public or media wishing to watch the event and cheer on the NRPS teams from the Rainbow Bridge will be required to present their passports/NEXUS.
